Nike A. Roberts

Nike A. Roberts, ‘Nikky’ for short, was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa. She has a penchant for living life. Her inherent inclination toward life and the human race is summed up briefly: if you’re bored with life, you won’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things – you don’t have enough goals. Professionally, she wears many caps from catering to computers. Nikky is a director on the board of a construction company in Atlanta, GA; she owns a catering company that caters authentic African cuisine and she is the CEO of a media company, also in Atlanta, GA. She has a varied educational background and is currently working on an advanced degree in computer security and networking.

‘Nikky’ believes that whatever is worth doing is worth doing very well. Realizing the need to promote, encourage and stimulate both an intellectual and a practical examination of Africa and Africans; Talk Time Africa – an internet talk show, was birthed by ‘Nikky’. Her vision was inspired by the indubitable need to create a platform for Africans to meaningfully exchange ideas while examining their ideals irrespective of orientation, tribe or culture; and to positively represent the African continent and its people. Her passion is to see a united African front in the media industry so that Africans can take their place in the global playing field. As a great communicator, ‘Nikky’ shares the sentiment that, “Great communication begins with connection.”

She draws inspiration from God, and is motivated by the need to strengthen the voice of the African in the Diaspora.
